Towel requirements
State the intended use and finished dimensions for the towel. Supply your composition and appearance requirements, and ask for the proposed fabric description and care information.
Bath towel requirements
Provide a separate finished-size reference for the bath towel. If it belongs to a matching collection, identify which colours, borders and labels should match the smaller towel and which details may differ.
Sample comparison
Mark the measurement and appearance checks for each sample. Ask for individual packing and label details, and keep the sample references separate so the selected construction for one item is not assumed for the other.
Maintain towel sample references
Ask for a sample identity corresponding to each towel and bath towel description. Mark any changes in finished size, border or care information between the inquiry and the proposal. If the two items are intended to match, record which appearance points your reviewer has compared and request clarification of remaining differences before selecting the set.
Specify the intended use of each textile item
Describe where the towel or bath towel will be used and who will handle it after use. Give the buyer's required dimensions and explain any preferences about folding, display or storage. If several items are being compared, keep their intended uses and measurements in separate lines. Ask the supplier to respond with the proposed material and construction descriptions for each item. Avoid using a shared collection name as the only purchasing reference when the buyer expects different sizes or handling arrangements within that collection.
Request sample details that help your reviewer distinguish the proposed face, edges and any decorative areas. If the buyer has a preferred appearance after folding or hanging, show that arrangement and ask for the corresponding sample view. Describe the care routine the buyer wants to assess and request the supplier's instructions for the proposed textile. Keep questions about the feel or appearance of the sample with the actual sample reference. Do not infer those properties from a photograph or transfer an assessment from a differently described towel.
During comparison, have the reviewer record dimensions using your chosen measurement method and identify the sample reviewed. Note observations about handling and appearance separately from the material description supplied in the quotation. If a care review is part of your purchasing process, record the instructions followed and the particular item assessed. Ask for an explanation when the sample label and quotation name different materials or different care directions. Resolve that discrepancy before choosing the item instead of treating similar colour or packaging as proof that the descriptions match.
For an assortment, map each towel and bath towel to its selected dimensions, sample and proposed label. Ask how the supplier proposes to distinguish the items in packaging and on the packing list. If matching colours or decoration are requested, keep the appearance reference with each item rather than assuming the same description covers the entire set. Review any replacement proposal against the original use and care brief. Give your receiving team enough detail to compare the selected textile and its labels with the approved sample, including any differences accepted during review.
For a proposed textile set, identify which sample represents each item rather than selecting a general collection swatch alone. Ask the supplier to connect the proposed labels to the corresponding towel descriptions. Keep size and care questions with each item so the receiving team can distinguish an accepted appearance from dimensions or instructions that still need clarification.
