Define each textile item
Separate bed linen, table linen and towels into their own inquiry lines. Provide finished dimensions, required composition and colour references rather than assuming those details from the category name.
Prepare matching references
Attach a sample description or artwork where a coordinated collection is required. Identify which patterns, borders and labels should match and which items may have their own construction.
Request the care documents
Ask for the proposed fabric details, care information and packing description. Compare a sample with your finished-size requirement and retain the agreed reference for each item in the collection.
Maintain a textile reference set
Use a distinct reference for every textile size and construction in the inquiry. Mark which requirements are shared across a collection and which apply only to a single piece. Ask the supplier to identify changes to fabric, pattern or packing in its response, then keep the sample comments with the relevant item rather than the whole collection.
